I launched a new information technology brand into the SMB and mid-market space
Website
I designed the website for Business ICT Australia inclusive of all brand colours, icons, logos, fonts and images. Additionally I created the site structure and navigation designed for small and medium businesses based in Australia.
The design philosophy of the website was to make it easy for visitors to learn, leveraging the use of several different call to actions on each page of the site (click to call, request a callback, complete a simple 3 field webform)
SEO
We engaged a local SEO provider to help improve our rankings on Google in late 2019. I built our SEO strategy with a focus on keywords related to products and services aimed at small businesses. Our investment into SEO was very low when compared with many of our key competitors however we were still able to significantly grow our rankings and website visits by 600% from 60 per month in 2019 to 360 per month in 2021.
Reputation manager: 4.7 stars on Google from 28 reviews put us number 1 against relevant competitors.
Google My Business: We grew to the number 1 spot against relevant competitors.
Domain authority: 23 against a competitor average of 15.2
Brand Video
I created a brand video for Business ICT Australia to answer the question “Why choose us?”
I created all the graphics and iconography from scratch and then created the video, inclusive of transitions, music and voice over script. I am very proud of the end result, especially as there was no budget allocated to its creation.
This video features on our website as a means of appealing to users who learn audiovisually and in response to a high bounce rate we were experiencing on the website. Research indicates that a website video increases the time users engage with your website significantly in two ways:
Users who watch the video will watch most (or all) of the video and generally at least 45 seconds.
Users then tend to spend up to an additional 2 minutes on the website after watching a video.
