Heroes of the Meld
Co-operative Rummy
In Heroes of the Meld players take on the role of heroes trying to defeat the villain - represented by the deck itself - and must complete specific melds based on the starting set-up, and also go out before the deck is empty.
After each player has taken a turn the villain reveals cards from the top of the deck and adds them to matching melds as a barricade - blocking those melds from being played to and also advancing the game timer.
The players have some tricks of their own though - each of the six colours in the deck is aligned with a unique power that can be used when creating melds - extra card draws, removing barricades, reordering cards on top of the deck - and more.
